Lameshur is a remote South Shore area with a wilder feel than the main North Shore beaches. It can be a good South Shore option, but access matters.

Best when winds are from the north or northwest and South Shore beaches are more protected.

• Check rental car restrictions carefully.
• Some rental agreements prohibit driving to Lameshur.
